Prince Harry's Heartbreaking Confession About Princess Diana, His Future Children Revisited
Prince Harry once made a heartbreaking confession about his future children and late mother Princess Diana.
Three years ago, Prince Harry sat down for an interview with ABC’s Robin Roberts to talk about his mom’s legacy. He said that Princess Diana is on his mind with every single that he’s doing, and he wants to make sure that she would never be forgotten.
“I hope she’s looking down with tears in her eyes being incredibly proud of what we’ve established. I’m sure she’s longing for me to have kids so she can be a grandmother again… I hope, once again, that everything we do privately and officially that it makes us proud,” he said.
At the time of his interview, the Duke of Sussex was still single but it was evident that he had always wanted to have his own children. In the same year, he met Meghan Markle after they were introduced to each other by their common friend.
The royal couple hit it off quickly and two years after they first started dating, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their engagement. Markle is now pregnant with their first child, and she is expected to give birth sometime this month.
On Thursday, it was announced that Prince Harry and Markle will keep the arrival of their baby private. But royal correspondent Emily Andrews said that royal fans and photographers should not worry because Prince Harry and Markle will definitely share all of the important information about their child when they feel like it’s the right time.
Meanwhile, Prince Harry was just 12 years old when Princess Diana died following a fatal car crash in Paris. During an interview, Prince Harry said that it felt like a total chaos when he found out that his mom had died.
“I just couldn’t put my finger on it. I just didn’t know what was wrong with me,” he said on "Mad World."
It took Prince Harry several years before he finally decided to deal with his mom’s death and sought help following Prince William’s advice.
