Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are ready for a new chapter in their lives without the royal family. Although Queen Elizabeth released a statement claiming the royal family supported the couple’s decision, it appears the Duke of Sussex still has some issues with Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.

Royal insiders have claimed that Meghan and Harry’s shocking announcement forced members of their family to reevaluate their relationship with the couple.

For Prince William, it meant working through the problems in his relationship with Prince Harry before he relocated to Canada with Meghan.

“William and Harry have spent time together privately away from the official Sandringham Summit working on their relationship and discussing their future,” a source previously told The Sun.

Prince William and Prince Harry used the opportunity to also reflect on their happiness. “They decided to cut out all the toxic people stirring around them to deal with each other man-to-man as brothers,” the insider explained.

“Given Harry is now permanently moving away, there was a realization if they didn’t sort things out now, they never would. Of course, there have been serious differences in opinions, but the family warmth is back. And they’re sad they’re going to be so far apart.”

Unfortunately, Harry doesn’t have the same sentiments when it comes to Prince Charles and Camilla. “It’s fair to say that the past week has brought William and Harry back together, but the relationship with Charles and Camilla is far more complicated and complex,” the source shared.

“There remains a real lack of trust there, and it’s going to take some time to resolve,” the insider added.

Meghan and Prince Harry are expected to officially “step back” from their role as senior royals in spring 2020.
