Japan is up against Germany in an exhibition match in "The Prince of Tennis II: U-17 World Cup" Episode 2. The new episode is titled "Pre-World Cup Kicks Off!"
The official synopsis of Episode 2 is out. The exhibition match-up is part of the pre-World Cup event and Japan is facing the powerful German team.
Fuji is up first for Japan in the exhibition matches. The second match will feature Atobe and Captain Tezuka from Germany.
Fuji remembers the day when he was up against his former ally Tezuka, who is now the representative of Team Germany and has evolved into a fine player.
The first episode of the anime introduced Ryoma who was kicked out of Japan’s U-17 training camp for breaking the rules. Apparently, Ryoma was asked to leave the camp after he picked a fight with their captain.
He arrived in Los Angeles with his elder brother, Ryoga. Ryoma was surprised when the captain of Team U.S. came to pick them up from the airport.

The opening theme song, "I can fly," is performed by Yoshiki Ezaki and Bleecker Chrome. The ending theme song, "Dear Friends," is by TeniPri Artistars.
