Prince William and Kate Middleton showed very different parenting approaches when their excited son, Prince George, couldn’t control his excitement at the recent soccer game.

The Cambridges watched the Aston Villa match against Norwich this past weekend, and they couldn’t hide their excitement over their favorite team’s 4-0 victory.

A clip of Prince George cheering, laughing, and jumping after Aston Villa scored a goal went viral shortly after the match ended. A royal fan claimed that the Duke of Cambridge wrapped his arm around his eldest son and urged him to calm down.

But the Duchess of Cambridge just allowed Prince George to be a kid. The mom of three just smiled at her adorable son, and she also looked excited over the fact that the third in line to the throne is obviously a football fan.

Royal fans also praised the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for trying to raise their children as normal as possible. The royal couple also took Princess Charlotte to the match, and she was more calm than usual.

In the past, Princess Charlotte is the cheekier of Prince William and Middleton’s kids. She would usually make faces and make the crowd laugh with her hilarious antics. But during last weekend’s outing, she just sat and chatted with her parents throughout the entire match.

“Cuteness overload! And look how happy Kate looks with his [Prince George] happiness. That’s me with my kiddos,” one royal fan commented on Instagram.

Kate’s face of happiness is priceless,” another fan wrote. “Prince George is just so cute. Good to see the family having a day out and having fun, just like a normal family,” a third person commented.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have also been trying to give their children the privacy that they need and deserve while growing up. But every now and then, they surprise their fans with their outings.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte will be seen in public again in the coming weeks when they attend the royal family’s Christmas church service.
