Prince William and Kate Middleton have been married for eight years but they are not as touchy-feely as Prince Harry and Kate Middleton.

In fact, body language expert Judi James recently told The Sun that the royal couple looked like they were just friends with benefits when they attended Wimbledon.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s photo at the Wimbledon show them looking at each other with huge smiles on their faces. Even though they seem to be in love with each other, they look as though they’re just friends because they are sitting a few inches apart.

Prince William and Middleton also avoided physical contact in the picture.

“The body distance and touch-free behavior combined with the intense and mutual eye gaze and wide, amused-looking smiles suggest strong ties of friendship as well as their bonds as a married couple. William’s wide grin suggests Kate enhances his life and lifts his mood,” she said.

James also talked about the other couples that attended the tournament last weekend, which included Zara Tindall and Mike Tindall. The body language expert dubbed the royal couple as strongly sexual.

“In the snap, Mike wraps his arm around his wife while watching the match. His foot is raised up and resting on the backrest of the chair in front of him. Zara is leaning a little bit towards her husband’s chest.

“This tactile, relaxed posing with each slumped in towards the other and his leg splay suggests a spontaneously mutual sexual attraction that is easy-going and unforced,” she said.

Middleton’s younger sister, Pippa Middleton, also attended the Wimbledon last weekend with her husband of three years, James Matthews. The couple sat quite apart from each other and James dubbed them as virtual strangers.

The body language expert noted the fact that another person can sit in between the couple due to the large gap in between them. They also didn’t touch each other.
