Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry Had Enjoyable Time In Northern Ireland
Prince William and Kate Middleton recently visited Northern Ireland for their royal engagement.
Here’s a look back at some of the most memorable trips of the members of the royal family in this destination.
While in Belfast, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge practiced their soccer moves during their visit to the National Stadium in Belfast, home of the Irish Football Association. Prior to this, Middleton was photographed with a beautiful bouquet of flowers from the crowds that greeted her outside the National Stadium.
Last year, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle traveled to Northern Ireland together. More specifically, the royal couple went to visit the Crown Liquor Saloon, a former Victorian gin place owned by the National Trust.
In 2017, the Duke of Sussex traveled to St. Anne’s Square in Belfast, where he was photographed with an adorable 7-month-old boy Henry and his mom Emma Mason. In the same year, Prince William dedicated a new lifeboat called the “Ray of Hope” by pouring a measure of whiskey into it.
Three years ago, Middleton attended the Secretary of State’s annual garden party at Hillsborough Castle in Belfast, Northern Ireland. While there, the mom of three was photographed in her cream ensemble.
In 2014, Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth II also dropped by St. George’s indoor market, where they sampled the local fare. And in 2011, Middleton went to the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund of Children, where she met 6-year-old Ellie Tang. The Duchess of Cambridge was also photographed flipping a pancake at that time.
Also, in 2011, Prince William and his then-fiancée Middleton took part in a demonstration by farming students at Greenmount Agricultural College. In their photo, the royal couple is seen holding on to a wooden post.
Two years after their wedding, Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles went to Northern Ireland as well. They were photographed interacting with an adorable horse that was nibbling the future King’s hand.
