Prince William and Kate Middleton were spotted engaging in a rare public display of affection on St. Patrick’s Day.

The couple, who have been married for almost eight years, was photographed staring into each other’s eyes and giggling during their outing. In one of their photos, the Duke of Cambridge is smiling from ear to ear while looking at his beautiful wife. Middleton’s back is turned towards the camera so it is unclear what her reaction was at that time.

But in a second photo, Prince William is standing beside his wife, while Middleton is looking straight into the camera. She is also smiling from ear to ear while talking to some officers.

Even though Prince William and Middleton did not hold hands in public, it was evident that they were having a wonderful time during their royal engagement. In fact, they chatted with each other nonstop.

The parents of Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis regularly attend St. Patrick’s Day celebrations since Prince William began serving as the first royal colonel of the Irish Guards. The position was given to the second in line to the throne in 2011.

Middleton, who has joined Prince William on St. Patrick’s Day almost every year since they got married, is usually tasked to present officers and warrant officers in the 1st Battalion Irish Guards with shamrocks.

For this year’s celebration, Middleton wore an all-green ensemble by Alexander McQueen. She also wore a pair of black Piper suede pumps by Gianvito Rossi for the outing. Prince William, on the other hand, wore his full military uniform.

In related news, Prince William also made headlines this week after it was revealed that he has really been feuding with Prince Harry. Dan Wootton, The Sun’s executive editor, claimed that the royal siblings could not also work on their charitable projects together.

“Many want to believe the bond between the two lads who grew up in the brutal spotlight of their mother’s death is unbreakable, which is the case when taking the big picture into account. But a gulf has developed between them since Meghan empowered Harry to be the new-age celebrity royal he’s tried to become for years,” he told Express.
