Eagle-eyed royal fans noticed how a young Prince Edward resembled Prince Louis. In an unearthed photo, Queen Elizabeth is carrying Prince Edward in her arms, and the royal’s resemblance to Prince Louis is quite shocking.

Instagram user @theroyalfamily uploaded the throwback photo of Prince Edward to commemorate his 56^th birthday. Within a few hours, the photo elicited thousands of likes from royal fans.

Other than birthday greetings, the comments on the photo focused on Prince Edward and Prince Louis’ resemblance.

A day later, the official Instagram account of the royal family uploaded another photo of Prince Edward with his wife, Sophie, Countess of Wessex. The royal couple visited Essex today, where they met schoolchildren and members of the community at the Mersea Island Community Center.

The Earl and Countess of Wessex have been performing more royal duties in recent months after Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle stepped back from their royal duties.

Royal fans are pleased to see the Wessex’s performing their royal duties on behalf of Queen Elizabeth.
