The royal family remembered Meghan Markle on her 41st birthday.
On Thursday, several members of the royal family took to social media to wish the Duchess of Sussex a happy birthday. Prince William and Kate Middleton shared via Twitter and Instagram Story a snap of Markle taken at a Thanksgiving service at St. Paul's Cathedral during Queen Elizabeth's Platinum Jubilee celebrations in June.
"Wishing a happy birthday to the Duchess of Sussex!" the couple's message read.
Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall did the same. They shared another photo of the former "Suits" star from the same event along with their birthday wishes for Prince Harry's wife.
"Happy birthday to the Duchess of Sussex," Prince Harry's father and stepmother wrote, adding a red balloon emoji.
Royal fans and social media users also sent Markle birthday greetings via Twitter Thursday.
"Wishing Madame Duchess, Meghan Markle, a very happy 41st birthday," Laura Kramer wrote. "Happy birthday to my birthday buddies Louis Armstrong, Barack Obama, Billy Bob Thornton, Percy Bysshe Shelley and Meghan Markle," Beau Evans tweeted.
Markle celebrated her birthday in California with Prince Harry and their two children: son Archie, 3, and 1-year-old daughter Lilibet, according to Us Weekly.
"The Duchess is enjoying a lovely birthday this year with her family and dear friends," a rep for the Sussexes told the outlet Thursday.
On her milestone 40th birthday last year, Markle gave royal fans the first glimpse of baby Lili. The then-2-month-old baby girl appeared via a snap on Markle’s desk in a video the duchess shared for her birthday.
In the video, Markle was joined by Melissa McCarthy as the duchess spoke about her 40x40 project — in which she enlisted activists, athletes and celebrities from around the world to donate 40 minutes of their time to mentor a woman re-entering the workforce amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Prince Harry also made a surprise cameo in the video, appearing in a window in the background juggling while his wife was speaking to McCarthy.
Markle's 41st birthday comes just a few weeks after she and Prince Harry traveled to New York City where the prince gave a speech in honor of Nelson Mandela Day at the United Nations General Assembly.
During his tribute, the duke referred to his wife as his "soulmate."
