Prince William Makes Surprising, Sweet Remark For Kate Middleton, Calls Wife ‘Lovely’

Prince William called his wife Kate Middleton “lovely.”

On Tuesday, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex visited the South Wales resort of Mulbles. They were welcomed by well-wishers who lined up just to have a glimpse of them.

One woman called the future king and informed him that his 4-year-old daughter Princess Charlotte was her favorite. The royal dad of three made a surprising response when the woman complimented his wife, Middleton, and his daughter by calling them both “lovely.”

“Yes, she is lovely — just like my wife,” Prince William said (via People).

According to the publication, Prince William’s marriage with Middleton is “true partnership.” The duke’s intense side is balanced by his wife’s poise and calmness. A close pal of the royal couple said that they are perfect for each other.

“They look after each other but in different ways,” the friend told People.

“Some people might say it’s an old-fashioned marriage, but it seems to work. They have different roles, but they come together as a team.”

Another insider also told Us Weekly that Prince William and Middleton are closer together this time due to their busy schedule. The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are taking more jobs following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to step down from their royal duties.

The insider said that Prince William and Middleton work as a team and they support each other. Last year, the couple’s marriage was tested due to the rumors claiming that Prince William cheated on Middleton with their friend Rose Hanbury. However, the couple denied it.

Last month, Middleton celebrated her birthday in Norfolk and Rose was among her guests. The Marchioness of Cholmondeley was with her husband David Cholmondeley. The sighting of Prince William and Middleton with the Cholmondeleys only showed that there was no truth to the claims that Prince William and Hanbury had an affair.

Also, Prince William and Middleton are getting more tactile. During the couple’s visit to the South of Wales, Middleton was spotted placing a hand on Prince Willam’s arm. There were also shots of the duke touching his wife’s back.
