Prince William, Meghan Markle Share Special Connection Despite Feud Rumors
Prince William and Meghan Markle have something in common despite rumors that they are at odds with each other.
In the book “William and Harry” by Katie Nicholl, the royal author revealed that the Duke of Cambridge has a surprising talent for yoga. He practiced yoga even as young boy and was inspired by his mom, Princess Diana.
“William believes that yoga is excellent for the mind and body and still practices today when he has time. William knew some positions from his mother, who practiced yoga regularly at Kensington Palace, and father, who used to train with yoga guru Dr. Masaraf Ali,” Nicholl said in 2010.
Prince William also went on a trip to Patagonia, South America, during his gap year years ago. While there, he taught some of the group how to hold certain yoga positions. A friend who joined the dad of three on his trip in 2000 said that Prince William went on his ground mat and wore thermal long johns every morning.
“He would show us how to get into different poses. He knew a lot about yoga and said he practiced it at home,” Prince William’s friend said.
The same source added that Prince William was incredibly good at yoga, and he could also do some of the most advanced positions that may be difficult for other people.
Meanwhile, Markle is also a yoga fanatic. Her mom, Doria Ragland, is a professional yoga teacher. In 2016, the Duchess of Sussex was featured on Best Health Magazine’s official Instagram account where she showed various yoga poses that proved her amazing flexibility.
Around the same time, Markle was introduced to Prince Harry and they started dating two months later. Since then, the “Suits” alum has inspired a lot of changes in her husband. Prince Harry has also tried practicing yoga, and he exercises regularly.
The Duke of Sussex has also stopped smoking and drinking alcohol, and he has been living a healthier lifestyle all thanks to his wife. Prince Harry’s friends are reportedly pleased to see all his positive changes.
