Prince William Mentions Brother Prince Harry For The First Time Amid Reconciliation Reports

Prince William mentioned his younger brother Prince Harry in his open letter to the organization behind The Diana Award.

Princess Diana and Prince Charles’ two sons were rumored to be feuding in the past years since Prince Harry married Meghan Markle. According to reports, Prince Harry was livid when his older brother advised him to take his time and slow down with his romance with the former “Suits” star. He felt that Prince William was trying to destroy his relationship with Markle.

The palace denied the rift, but many noticed that there were changes in their setup. In March, several netizens felt that that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge snubbed the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during the Commonwealth Day service. Thus, it is refreshing to see that for the first time in months, Prince William recognized his brother by mentioning him in a letter.

“I wanted to write to send my support and thanks to all the staff, volunteers and supporters of The Diana Award. My brother and I remain ever appreciative of the work you do to foster, develop and support young people, particularly at this time of uncertainty,” Prince William wrote.

“Whilst you are finding yourselves adapting to new ways of working, there is no doubt that your support for young people, through what will be anxious and unsettling times for many, is as important as ever.”

The Duke of Cambridge also wished the staff and volunteers and their families good health over the coming weeks. Prince William accompanied his letter with snaps of him with Prince Harry and two solo photos of his younger brother.

Several netizens were very happy after reading Prince William’s post.

Royal biographer Katie Nicholl previously revealed that the two royal brothers are already on speaking terms. The Duke of Sussex is reportedly homesick in Los Angeles and has reconnected with his big brother.

“There have been clearly some quite major rifts in that relationship, but things have got better and I know that William and Harry are in touch on the phone,” Nicholl said.

Prince William and Kate Middleton have somehow confirmed this. In one conversation during a video call, the couple said that they talk to all family members online amid the pandemic, which should include Prince Harry and Markle.
