Prince William openly flirted with Kate Middleton on TV.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been married for eight years already. Unlike the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, the future king and queen rarely engage in PDAs.

However, in an unearthed interview, Prince William and Middleton were seen displaying their affection in front of the cameras. It happened during their engagement interview with ITV’s Tom Brady, Express reported.

Prince William revealed that when he first met Middleton, he knew there was something very special between them. The second in line to the throne also praised their relationship and even explained that the foundation of their strong bond was their friendship.

The pair can be seen smiling and looking at each other adorably. He also said that it was fun and easy to be around each other.

“Over the years, I knew things were getting better and better. We went through a few stumbling blocks, as every relationship does, but we picked ourselves up and carried on,” Prince William said.

“From where you have the odd problem when you’re first getting to know each other, those have all gone, and it’s really easy being with each other. It’s really fun, and I’m obviously extremely funny and she loves that.”

Over the years, many noticed that Prince William and Middleton have developed a distinct move to show their rare PDA subtly. The couple has been photographed touching each other’s back. At times, Prince William would place a hand on his wife’s waist.

According to body language expert Judi James, there has been a steady increase in the PDA rate between Prince William and Middleton over the years. She also noted that their affectionate back-stroke display was the most recent example.

In related news, Prince William and Middleton have been trained for their future roles in the monarchy. Royal expert Ingrid Seward said that there was no school for princesses when Prince Diana was around and there is still no school for the monarchs, but the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have been preparing for their roles every day. The future king and queen learn by observing the other royals and by experience.
