Prince William Played This Key Role In Major Caribbean Drug Bust
Prince William reportedly played a key role in the major Caribbean drug bust.
In the documentary “Prince William: Royalty In My Family,” the narrator revealed that during Prince William’s navy training in the Caribbean island of Montserrat, he took part in a number of secret underwater missions. He also helped identify and capture a small vessel that was transporting a huge amount of cocaine.
The bust was estimated at 900 kilograms of cocaine, which costs around $50 million. Following the successful operation, the dad of three went on to become a flight lieutenant in the Royal Air Force in 2009.
After he and Kate Middleton welcomed their first child, Prince George, in 2013, it was announced that Prince William would become a full-time pilot for the East Anglian Air Ambulance. However, he announced his retirement from the organization four years later.
At the time, the second in line to the throne said that he and his wife wanted to focus more on their royal duties.
“It has been a huge privilege to fly with the East Anglian Air Ambulance. Following on from my time in the military, I have had experiences in this job I will carry with me for the rest of my life, and that will add a valuable perspective to my royal work for decades to come,” he said in a statement.
In related news, Prince William also made headlines this week after it was reported that Princess Diana was the first person who introduced him and Prince Harry to adult magazines. The Princess of Wales’ former royal butler, Paul Burrell, claimed that he was asked by his boss to buy the magazines from the local newsagents.
“The Princess thought it’d be interesting for them to see some ladies… I didn’t really care how she treated me in the long term because I was only doing my job,” he said.
Burrell said that the doting mom wanted her boys to get a better view of the opposite sex so she decided to expose them to adult magazines.
