Prince William and Kate Middleton are focused on their royal duties amid the drama brought by Prince Harry's newly released memoir, "Spare."

On Thursday, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited Merseyside in North West England to chat with those working at healthcare and mental health support services in the county, Entertainment Tonight reported.

Prince William, 40, and Middleton, 41, were all smiles during the outing. She donned a blue-and-green tartan plaid coat, navy dress and matching heels, while the future king rocked a green sweater, navy jacket and matching slacks.

The royal couple first attended the opening of The Royal Liverpool University Hospital, where they battled a strong breeze upon arrival. One reporter asked Prince William if he was hurt by his younger brother's comments in "Spare," but it wasn't clear if the royal heard the question amid the strong winds.

The Prince of Wales later appeared to ignore more questions about his brother's book as he and his wife were leaving the Open Door Charity in Birkenhead, the couple's second stop for the day.

In a video shared on Twitter, Prince William and Middleton were saying goodbye to officials when a voice behind the camera asked, "Your Royal Highness, have you had a chance to read your brother's book at all? Have you had a chance to read your brother's book at all, your Royal Highness?"

Though the couple appeared to be in clear earshot, they didn't react to the question as they walked out.

Reporter Inzamam Rashid of Sky News later posted a video from the moment via Twitter, writing, "No answer from Prince William as to whether he's read his [brother's] book or not..."

Royal fans reacted to Prince William and Middleton getting asked about Prince Harry's bombshell book. Some said they believe that the couple gave the best response by staying silent.

"So classy!!! Love love love them!! Good on them. Unfortunately, they have no other choice and they must be broken inside!" one Twitter user commented.

Another added, "Smile, ignore, smile...works every time. Good for Willy."

"I wouldn't blame them for not responding. How rude of the journalist to even ask! No respect!" a third person tweeted.

"What do people expect? The pair to turn around, take a deep breath and tell you what they have or haven't read, how they feel, if the rest of their family is hurt by things in the book, etc.?" a fourth commenter wrote. "No chance, they keep their private business as private as they can and I don't blame them."

Other Twitter users slammed the reporters who asked Prince William and Middleton about the memoir during their royal engagements.

"So cringe, why would you ask that?" one wrote.

"That's rather despicable of the person who asked that question," another person commented.

Prince William and Middleton were at the center of many of Prince Harry's revelations in "Spare."

In the book, the Duke of Sussex seemingly blamed them for his Nazi costume scandal, claiming they encouraged him to wear it to a party in 2005. Harry also alleged that his older brother physically attacked him in 2019 during an argument about his wife, Meghan Markle.

Prince Harry's book "Spare" was released Tuesday.
