Prince William and Prince Harry may be siblings, but their personalities couldn’t be farther apart from each other.

Royal aides recently differentiated the brothers from each other in the two-part documentary “The Story of the Royals.” David Wiseman, a former soldier and one of Prince Harry’s architects for the Invictus Games, gushed over the Duke of Sussex and said that he has a cheeky side because he loves jokes and a good banter.

“But there are only very few situations where [Harry] can let that shine, and one of those is when he’s around the lads. He understands he comes from a position of privilege, and he’s not ashamed of that. He understands it’s his duty to use that to have a positive impact,” he said (via Daily Mail).

Prince William, on the other hand, is absolutely charming and is also funny like Prince Harry. Penny Junor, a royal biographer, said that Prince William exudes faint awkwardness that’s completely absent from his younger brother.

“Harry makes you laugh within seconds. He will make a joke at his own expense. He will make a joke at your expense. It’s like talking to a normal person. With the Prince of Wales and with William, there’s always a feeling that they are somebody a little bit different,” he said.

According to CNN, Prince William is also dull, unlike Prince Harry who is full of life. Robert Jobson, a journalist for the publication, also described Meghan Markle’s husband as a natural performer in front of the camera and microphone.

“He is warm, naughty, an extrovert, and has a sense of fun. As a result people warm to him. Like his late mother, Princess Diana, he is flawed and that makes him interesting,” he wrote.

Jobson noted that Prince William’s personality is very different due in part to the fact that he is second in line to the throne.

“He cannot let his hair down in public – if the Future King was exposed doing what Harry was snapped doing, it would raise serious questions about his suitability to one day to be Britain’s Head of State, a position gifted to him by birthright,” he said.
