  • Prince William said Princess Charlotte and Kate Middleton have mastered the floss dance
  • He also revealed that both Prince George and his only daughter are "cheeky" kids
  • The future king said his children were his main motivators in his conservation work

Prince William shared some fun facts about his two older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, and wife Kate Middleton in a new documentary.

In his new ITV documentary "Prince William: A Planet for Us All," Prince William visited Liverpool where the father of three got the chance to surprise a group of children who had built a huge bug hotel that they called "Bugingham Palace."

During his chat with the kids, the future king entertained some questions about his children: Prince George, 7, Princess Charlotte, 5, and Prince Louis, 2.

"Is Princess Charlotte cheekier than Prince George?" one child asked.

"No, they’re about as cheeky as each other. They’re very cheeky," Prince William replied.

Another student asked the royal if Prince George had taught the family how to do the floss dance. The Duke of Cambridge shared that Prince George didn't, but his younger sister, Princess Charlotte, and their mom can perform the move.

"No, Charlotte can floss," Prince William revealed. "Catherine can floss but I can't. It's, it's like a really horrible film to watch me floss.”

The Duchess of Cambridge has been spotted dancing several times over the years. Back in 2017, she danced with beloved children's book character Paddington Bear at Paddington Station in London. Middleton twirled around as Prince William happily watched from the side. She had been pregnant with Prince Louis at the time.

Back in 2012, Prince William and Middleton performed the traditional welcome dance "fatele" with locals on the remote island of Tuvalu during their Diamond Jubilee Tour of the South Pacific. The moment was caught on camera, and the clip of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge dancing made the rounds on Twitter once more last year.

Meanwhile, Prince William has been dedicating himself to protecting the environment. His dad, Prince Charles, and brother Prince Harry are also onboard when it comes to environmental protection and sustainability.

Middleton's husband said in his new documentary that his kids were one of his motivators in his conversation work.

"I really want to make sure that in 20 years, George doesn't turn around and say, are you ahead of your time? Because if he does, we’re too late," Prince William said.

He continued, "Now I’ve got George, Charlotte and now Louis in my life, your outlook does change. You want to hand over to the next generation, the wildlife, in a much better condition."
