Prince William ‘Worried’ About Fourth Baby With Kate Middleton For This Reason
Kate Middleton might be ready to have a fourth baby with Prince William, but that doesn’t mean the future King of England is as certain about the prospects of having another baby as she is.
During a visit in Northern Ireland, Middleton, 37, interacted with a well-wisher named Alan Barr, who revealed their conversation to People Magazine, admitting that the Duchess of Cambridge may have hinted she has a little bit of baby fever after her interaction with his five-month-old son, James.
“He’s gorgeous,” Middleton reportedly told him. “It makes me feel broody.”
However, if the Duchess is hinting she’d love a fourth baby, it appears her husband, Prince William, isn’t quite as on board with the idea, as Barr boldly asked her if she would welcome a fourth baby and the Duchess replied with a laugh and stated her husband wasn’t entirely set with the idea.
“I think William would be a little worried,” she said.
The couple does have three children together—Prince George, 5, Princess Charlotte, 3, and Prince Louis, 10 months. However, if Prince William is reluctant to welcome a fourth child with his wife, there may be a genuine reason for his concern, as none of her previous three pregnancies were easy.
Early during all three of her pregnancies, Middleton suffered from hyperemesis gravidarum, which is categorized as a more severe form of morning sickness, which can consist of such persistent vomiting that it leads to dehydration. Middleton was hospitalized for the condition during her first pregnancy in 2012, and while she did suffer from it again when she was expecting Charlotte and Louis, she was able to be treated outside of the hospital.
Royal fans have often speculated on the possibility of Middleton and Prince William welcoming a fourth child together, and betting odds have been at a flurry that they would announce that child in 2019.
As of most recent odds, betting agents Ladbrokes stated that it is 5/2 that Middleton will announce a fourth pregnancy in 2019, while it’s 10/1 that she’ll actually have a fourth child this year.
