Prince William’s Striking Resemblance To Princess Charlotte Evident In This Throwback Photo

Prince William’s newly-unearthed throwback photo showed his striking resemblance to his only daughter, Princess Charlotte.

In the snap taken in 1985, Prince William, then 2 years old, is standing on the grounds of Kensington Palace in his striped blue top, shorts and buckled shoes. Prince William is looking up in the snap, and his facial expression is exactly like how Princess Charlotte looked during Prince Louis’ christening in July.

Last year, Princess Charlotte stepped out of the church following her younger brother’s christening and told the photographers that they have not been invited to the occasion. She also gave some of the photographers a staredown.

The shape of Princess Charlotte’s face, her eyes and lips are the exact replica of her dad. But Princess Charlotte’s hair color is slightly darker than the second in line to the throne, possibly because she inherited the shade from Kate Middleton.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time Princess Charlotte was likened to her dad. In October, Instagram account Tea Time With the Cambridges shared a throwback picture of 10-year-old Prince William wearing a checkered polo shirt and red long-sleeved gear.

In the photo, Prince William’s head is slightly bent downward, and he has a smirk on his face. The dad of three’s photo was uploaded side by side with Princess Charlotte’s picture taken during Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding.

Princess Charlotte’s head is also tilted downward, and she has the same expression on her face. The 3-year-old’s rosy cheeks also look exactly like her dad’s cheeks.

“Wow! Now that’s twinning! She is the spitting image of her father in this photo,” one royal fan commented.

Some royal fans also said that Princess Charlotte looks quite like her late grandmother, Princess Diana. This isn’t a surprising comparison because Prince William looks like his mom.

“I personally think Princess Charlotte looks like HRH Diana! Those why downward look, the nose… She’s a darling little princess,” another fan wrote.

Another Instagram account, Royally Addicted, posted side-by-side photos of Princess Charlotte and Queen Elizabeth II and said that the two are the ones that look alike.
