Princes William, Harry Lack ‘Buoyant-Looking Rituals’ During Outing With Kate, Meghan

Prince William and Prince Harry didn’t exert effort to look amicable during their recent outing with their wives Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, respectively.

On Tuesday, the fab four reunited to attend the royals’ annual morning Christmas service in Sandringham despite their rumored rift. The Duchess of Cambridge and Duchess of Sussex were photographed smiling and chatting, but their husbands looked distant to each other.

Body language expert Judi James told Express.co.uk that the “bigger problem” is between the two royal brothers. She pointed out how Prince William and Prince Harry both stuffed their hands into their pockets and how they both looked ill at ease for doing so.

“Walking along on the outside of the row with their hands stuffed into their pockets they both alternated between slightly rigid-looking smiling and some less cheerful facial expressions,” the expert said.

James also observed how Middleton and Markle talked to show the public that they were okay. However, the Duke of Cambridge and Duke of Sussex failed to do the same even if they were initially known for their naughty antics together.

“We’re so used to seeing these two brothers together looking bonded and slightly naughty, often using tie-signs like catching one another’s eye to communicate and laugh together silently but with their wives keen to perform solidly for the cameras there seemed to be a lack of these usual buoyant-looking rituals from William and Harry,” the body language expert added.

James also pointed out earlier that Middleton exerted more effort in her “friendly” public reunion with Markle. However, she felt that what the two duchesses showed was just for the cameras.

In several snaps, the royal mom of three could be seen walking a few steps behind Prince William as she chatted with Markle who held Prince Harry’s arm. They were smiling and looking at each other to send a signal to the crowd that the rumored rift was not true.

However, according to James, the four royals looked slightly rigid. She also described their smiles as somewhat “forced-looking.”

Previous reports suggested that Middleton and Markle have a ghastly row that allegedly started a year ago. However, other insiders claimed that it was Prince William and Prince Harry who have issues with each other.
