Princess Beatrice’s wedding to Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi is confirmed to take place next year. A royal expert recently said that the couple’s wedding date will most likely be in the spring.

While speaking with Express, royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams also said that it is unlikely that Princess Beatrice will be allowed to tie the knot at Westminster Abbey like her parents, Prince Andrew, and Sarah Ferguson. Prince William and Kate Middleton were the last royal couple to wed in the venue.

Last year, Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie, and Jack Brooksbank all tied the knot at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Fitzwilliams said that Princess Beatrice’s wedding will most likely take place in Windsor.

“The likelihood is that Beatrice’s wedding, which will probably be the last high-profile royal nuptials for many years, will also be at St George’s Chapel, Windsor and will attract a lot of attention though obviously nothing compared to those of senior royals - it will almost certainly not be at Westminster Abbey. Fitzwilliams also said that Princess Beatrice and Mapelli Mozzi’s wedding will most likely be televised by ITV. Since she is not a working royal, her wedding won’t be televised by the BBC. Princess Eugenie’s wedding attracted 3 million viewers with ITV’s broadcast.
