Princess Charlotte May Enroll At Thomas’s Battersea This Year For This Reason
Princess Charlotte will be heading to a big school for the first time this year.
The adorable daughter of Prince William and Kate Middleton will soon prepare to follow in her brother Prince George’s footsteps by studying at Thomas’s Battersea. Princess Charlotte will turn 4 years old on May 2, and this was also Prince George’s age when he started studying in the big school.
Amalie Henden, a journalist for Express, said that it would be more practical for Princess Charlotte to go to the same school as Prince George so that she could immediately receive support from her older sibling. This would also be beneficial to the kids’ nanny, Maria Borrallo, and parents, who may be invited to go to school for some events.
According to Thomas’s Battersea’s website, the busy, thriving and purposeful school offer a rich and broad curriculum. The school’s core values include kindness, courtesy, confidence, humility, and learning to be givers and not takers. At present, the school has 550 pupils between the ages of 4 and 13.
Some of the activities that students may enjoy at Thomas’s Battersea include ballet, drama, ICT, French, music, and physical education. Last year, Middleton revealed that Princess Charlotte enjoys learning ballet, and she may continue taking after-school classes at Thomas’s Battersea.
Meanwhile, Princess Charlotte’s current school, The Willocks Nursery School, is also closely associated with Thomas’s Battersea. Those who attended their initial education at the former are recommended to consider enrolling at the latter when they reach the age of 4.
“Preparing for their future schools – parents may find the following links useful,” the website states.
However, they also included other institutions in their list like The Harrodian, Knightsbridge, Kensington Prep, and more.
In related news, when Prince George gets older, he is rumored to transfer to Marlborough College where Middleton received her education. Princess Charlotte may also follow in his footsteps because the Duchess of Cambridge had a wonderful and memorable time in the school.
