Princess Charlotte Pictured Before Her First Birthday In Royal Family's Vacation Photos
For the first time this year fans of the British royal family got a glimpse of Princess Charlotte of Cambridge on Monday. Kensington Palace released several images of the 10-month-old on a ski vacation in the French Alps with her parents, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, Prince William and Kate Middleton, and her 2-year-old brother, Prince George.
In two of the images Charlotte can be seen sporting a white snow suit, knitted pink hat and a big smile as her mom, Duchess Catherine, holds her. A second photo shows her being held by Prince William. Kensington Palace reports the vacation was the family of four’s first and also marked the first time the two children have played in snow. PA Royal Photographer John Stillwell captured the photos.
A few of the images only featured the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. The candid shots showed them being playful in the snow.
Kensington Palace last released shots of Princess Charlotte in November 2015. The photos, captured by Kate inside the family's home in Norfolk, England, showed the infant posing in a pink sweater and smiling at a stuffed animal, which later sold out.
“The Duke and Duchess continue to receive warm messages about Princess Charlotte from all over the world and they hope that everyone enjoys these lovely photos as much as they do,” the palace said in a statement.
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed Princess Charlotte on May 2, 2015. She is the fourth-in-line to the British throne.
