Princess Diana Desperately Wanted More Kids With Prince Charles, Royal Biographer Says

Princess Diana wanted to have more kids with Prince Charles.

The Prince and Princess of Wales had a fairytale wedding. Unfortunately, their marriage was very different. According to a royal biographer, despite their rocky relationship, Princess Diana remained in love with the future king and even wanted to have more kids with him.

“Despite everything, Diana remained tenaciously in love with Charles,” royal author Tina Brown wrote in her 2007 book “The Diana Chronicles.”

“Diana desperately wanted more children — with him,” she added.

Brown said that although Prince Charles and Princess Diana’s relationship wasn’t smooth sailing, the couple shared some things in common like their love for their sons Prince William and Prince Harry.

Princess Diana’s private secretary, Patrick Jephson, believed that Prince Charles and Princess Diana could have still mended their relationship if not for Camilla Parker Bowles. The author wrote that Jephson was positive that the Prince and Princess of Wales could still make their marriage work. However, the Duchess of Cornwall refused to back off.

Princess Diana’s former royal protection officer also thought that she wanted to make her marriage with Prince Charles work but it failed due to Camilla. In the 2017 Amazon Prime documentary “Diana: The Woman Inside,” Ken Wharfe shared the details about the couple’s possible reconciliation.

According to him, Princess Diana was desperate to make it work for their two sons. Unfortunately, they never had the chance to work out their differences and resolve their marital issues because Camilla “never went away.”

Tom Bower also claimed that for the same reason, Queen Elizabeth II couldn’t forgive the duchess. According to the “Rebel Prince: The Power, Passion and Defiance of Prince Charles,” Her Majesty couldn’t forgive Camilla for not leaving the Prince of Wales alone to recover his marriage.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana’s friend Lana Marks revealed in the documentary, “Princess Diana: Her Life, Her Death, Her Truth,” that the late royal only had one love and it’s Prince Charles.

Princess Diana, herself, confessed this to Marks. Princess Diana’s trainer and friend Jenni Rivett said the same thing. Rivett insisted that it was not Princess Diana who wanted to separate or divorce Prince Charles.

“She wanted to be the Princess of Wales, she wanted to be the Queen of people’s hearts, she wanted to be a good mother, which she was, and a good wife,” Rivett said.
