Princess Diana Did This To Her Sons But Kate Middleton Didn't Copy

Princess Diana did something to her sons, Prince William and Prince Harry, that Kate Middleton and her husband haven’t done to their three children.

While Prince William and Prince Harry were still kids, Princess Diana had fun dressing them up in matching clothes. The royal siblings were oftentimes photographed in their matching shorts and jumpers, as well as their similar pea coats and smart outfits.

Prince William and Middleton, on the other hand, avoided dressing their two older children, Prince George and Princess Charlotte, in matching attires. This may be because Prince George and Princess Charlotte do not have the same gender. Prince George’s clothes from when he was still young look like the same clothes that Prince Louis is currently wearing.

But during their royal tours and public outings, Prince George and Princess Charlotte wore similar colors. The same can be said about their attires in their newly-released Christmas card. In the snap, the siblings and their parents are dressed in mostly blue.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry once referenced his and Prince William’s matching outfits in the ITV documentary “Diana, Our Mother: Her Life and Legacy.”

“I genuinely think she got satisfaction out of dressing myself and William up in the most bizarre outfits – normally matching,” he said.

Prince Harry also declared that when he has children of his own, he will also be dressing them in similar clothes. Prince Harry is expecting his first child with Meghan Markle, and they will welcome the baby sometime in the Spring of 2019.

Meanwhile, Princess Diana also made headlines this week after it was reported that she was desperate for a reconciliation with Prince Charles. In the Amazon Prime documentary “Diana: The Woman Inside,” it was revealed that the Princess of Wales wanted her marriage to survive.

Ken Wharfe, her former bodyguard, said that Princess Diana wanted her marriage to succeed for her sake and the sake of her two boys. Princess Diana wanted desperately to make it work, but Camilla Parker Bowles was always lurking around.

Prince Charles had an affair with Camilla, so he and Princess Diana ended up divorcing each other.
