Princess Diana, Kate Middleton, Meghan Photographed With Their Mothers In Throwback Snaps

Kate Middleton, Princess Diana and Meghan Markle have been caught on camera having a sweet moment with their moms.

Photos of the Duchess of Cambridge with Carole Middleton, Princess of Wales with Frances Shand Kydd, and Duchess of Sussex with Doria Ragland were shared on Instagram. In the snaps, the three royals can be seen enjoying the company of their mother.

Middleton looked stunning in her white lace dress with a matching hat. Meanwhile, Carole is as adorable as her royal daughter in a light-blue dress. Both are holding their clutch and are looking away from the camera and seem to be looking at something.

In another shot, Princess Diana is seated beside her mom smiling. She seemed to be listening to her mother as Kydd talks and points at something.

In the third photo, Markle and Ragland are smiling as they posed for a picture. Both are stunning in their outfits.

However, compared to the two duchesses, Princess Diana’s relationship with her mom was reportedly not that smooth. According to the People’s Princess’ former butler Paul Burrell, he once overheard a telephone call between the two.

“(Diana) said come and have a listen to this, and her mother ... berated her for being [seen] around with Muslim men,” Burrell said.

“You’re nothing but a prostitute and a whore, that’s what I’ve brought up, a prostitute,” Princess Diana’s mother said.

On the other hand, Carole has been a great mom to Middleton. In fact, she gave up her career when she welcomed the Duchess of Cambridge. She has also been praised as the model of discretion because she always stays out of her daughter’s royal affairs.

“She’s a deeply supportive, hands-on granny whom Kate can turn to at any moment — but she never steals the royal limelight,” Amanda Platell said.

Markle also shares a great relationship with her mother. In fact, she’s not on speaking terms with her father and her mom was the only family member present on her big day.

Ragland has been supportive of Markle. She was there at Markle’s cookbook launch.

However, the pair have been warned about doing a royal double act as Ragland could outshine her daughter.

At Markle’s cookbook launch, Rochelle White preferred Ragland’s look over Markle’s. “She 100 per cent stands out more than Meghan, but not in a bad way,” a stylist and PR expert said.
