Princess Diana once revealed a shockingly heartbreaking secret about Kensington Palace when she was still alive.

Several years ago, the Princess of Wales’ former royal butler, Paul Burrell, claimed that the mom of two told him about the secret. In the documentary “In Therapy: Paul Burrell,” the royal staff said that Princess Diana helped her close friend, Rosa Monckton, bury her stillborn baby in the grounds of the palace.

Princess Diana allowed the baby to be buried in the palace as her way of helping her friend grieve. Burrell claimed that he and another royal butler helped in the digging of the baby’s grave.

Years later, the story was leaked to the media but Monckton and her husband refused to confirm or deny whether or not the burial really happened at Kensington Palace.

Burrell is known for sharing stories about Princess Diana, but he has been accused of inventing some of them to cash in on the late royal. For instance, he once claimed that he took good care of Prince William and Prince Harry’s mom especially while she was struggling with her bulimia.

“I had stocks of all the supplies which she might need, and I sort of aided and abetted, I suppose, in a lot of ways. And I’d help her with that… I’d get the chef to prepare a gallon of custard, and I’d buy yogurts and lots of bananas… And I’d prepare the room for her to make sure she was comfortable… Make sure there was a pile of towels… I was doing my duty… I would have done anything for Diana,” he said.

Burrell also said that Princess Diana feared for her life before she was killed in a tragic car accident. The Princess of Wales allegedly said that the particular time in her life was the most dangerous because Prince Charles was planning an accident in her car.

But all of the Burrell’s claims have not been confirmed by the royal family.
