Meghan Markle's unique traits would've drawn Princess Diana to her.

Debbie Frank, a close friend of the late Princess of Wales, told Yahoo’s “Royal Box” that some of Markle’s standout qualities would have made Princess Diana especially drawn to her.

“Meghan is a complete firecracker of a girl, a sun sign – Leo – interestingly. It’s a throwback to the days of the Queen Mother, Princess Margaret, they were all sun signs, Leos… So, we’ve got this showstopper there, a huge contrast with Kate who is very elegant, very dignified,” she said.

According to Frank, Princess Diana would’ve have been happy to see and know Markle’s desire to help save the world. The two female royals would have also had a lot of things in common.

“Diana would have made a great mother-in-law in many ways. She would have helped everyone ease into royal life… Diana really warmed especially to people who were quite relaxed with her,” she said.

Unfortunately for Markle, she never had the chance to meet Princess Diana. But the latter’s legacy continues to live on. In fact, there are some predictions on how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex would include Princess Diana in the life of their baby.

There are rumors suggesting that Prince Harry and Markle’s baby would be named Diana if they will have a girl. Other than this, Prince Harry would most likely show his child old photos of Princess Diana and share stories about his mother.

Princess Diana’s ideas may also play a crucial role in the life of Baby Sussex since the child may grow up with the same dedication and passion for charities that would be close to its hearts.

Prince William and Prince Harry followed in their mom’s footsteps of partnering with charities, and they have also been named patron of some. When their children grow up, they would be expected to do the same.
