Princess Diana’s former royal butler, Paul Burrell, was recently slammed on Twitter for continuing to reveal some of the late royal’s biggest secrets. The Princess of Wales has been dead for over two decades and her supporters want the entire world to leave her in peace.

Just recently, the documentary “Princess Diana’s Wicked Stepmother” aired on the Smithsonian Channel in the United States. The documentary tackled Princess Diana’s relationship with her mom, Frances Shand Kydd.

During his interview with Fox News, Burrell revealed that he heard Kydd call the Princess of Wales a “whore” during their phone conversation. During that time, he saw the late royal crying while talking to her mom on the phone, and she asked Burrell to listen to their conversation.

Princess Diana begged her mom to stop calling her names and insulting her, but Kydd didn’t budge.

“Of course, she’s repeating it in her drunkenness. Diana eventually said, ‘I’m going to put the phone down and I’ll never speak to you again.’ And that’s exactly what she did. She never did speak to her mother again,” Burrell said.

But shortly after Burrell’s interview aired, royal fans slammed him on Twitter. Some of them also accused Burrell of not respecting his former boss.

“I find it disgusting that Princess Diana’s former employee Paul Burrell continues to milk her legacy for all its worth. If he had a modicum of respect for her and her sons he would shut up. It’s easy to attribute anything to the departed but so distasteful,” the royal fan wrote.

“If he had any respect for his one-time boss and her family, surely he would have held family secrets as private and kept them out of the news. Shame on you Paul Burrell,” another person tweeted.

This isn’t the first time that Burrell was slammed for talking about Princess Diana. In the past, he was also accused of making up stories about the Princess of Wales.
