Is Princess Diana’s Niece Lady Kitty Spencer Dating Retail Tycoon Michael Lewis?

Princess Diana’s 27-year-old niece, Lady Kitty Spencer, is being linked to the retail tycoon, Michael Lewis, 59.

Kate Hind, a journalist for the Daily Mail, said that Spencer might have found a new boyfriend. Hind described Lewis as a wealthy tycoon, who is just five years older than Spencer’s father. Lewis owns the high street fashion chains Whistles and Phase Eight.

The journalist revealed that the people close to Spencer and Lewis refused to confirm the real status of their relationship to her. However, when she first called Lewis on phone, it was Spencer’s publicist at Storm model agency that answered her.

Hind added that Spencer’s publicist previously denied that Princess Diana’s niece was dating another man earlier this year. But during their recent conversation, there was no denial about Spencer and Lewis’ relationship. However, there was also no confirmation.

Last week, both Spencer and Lewis traveled separately to southern Europe, but it is unclear if they met up there. Spencer also recently followed Lewis’ children on Instagram.

Hind said that a relationship between Spencer and Lewis shouldn’t come as a surprise because the former seems to prefer much older men. Spencer previously dated Niccolo Barattieri di San Pietro, who was 20 years her senior. They were together for four years before calling it quits last year.

Spencer’s aunt, Princess Diana, also seems to be fond of older guys. The mom of two had a 13-year age difference with Prince Charles. Princess Diana was born on July 1, 1961, while Prince Charles was born on Nov. 14, 1948. If the Princess of Wales was still alive, she would have been 57 years old. Prince Charles, on the other hand, will turn 70 this year.

Princess Diana’s other boyfriend, Dodi Al Fayed, was also six years her senior. The couple both passed away on Aug. 31, 1997, following a fatal car crash in Paris.
