Princess Eugenie Channels Princess Diana By Wearing This At Friend’s Wedding
Princess Eugenie recently channeled Princess Diana during Charlie van Straubenzee’s wedding to Daisy Jenks in Surrey.
The 28-year-old princess wore black sunglasses with white-rimmed lenses for her friend’s special day last weekend. According to Town & Country, the princess’ lenses looked similar to what Princess Diana wore in 1987 during a cricket match in Cardiff.
According to InStyle, the late Princess of Wales had a collection of white-rimmed versions of sunglasses herself. When she was still alive, Prince William and Prince Harry’s was photographed wearing different types of lenses, especially during the summer.
In related news, Princess Eugenie has been making headlines a lot recently because of her upcoming wedding to Jack Brooksbank. The couple will wed on Oct. 12 at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. They announced their wedding date earlier this year after getting engaged on Jan. 22.
Shortly after they announced their engagement, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank sat down for their first sit-down interview with BBC. At that time, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s daughter showed off her stunning engagement ring.
The finger accessory features a pinkish-orange oval padparadscha sapphire that is surrounded by diamonds. It bears a close resemblance to the ring that Prince Andrew gave Ferguson years ago.
Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s wedding reception will be held at the Royal Lodge, and it is being organized by her parents. The royal family is also expected to pay for some parts of the wedding, while the rest of the expenses will be split between Prince Andrew and Ferguson.
Just like Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank will have a carriage procession after their wedding ceremony. The couple also invited 1,200 members of the public to attend their special day. Family and friends of both Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank have also been asked to go to their special day.
