Is Princess Eugenie Competing With Kate Middleton, Meghan Markle On Instagram?

Princess Eugenie is growing more popular on Instagram amid Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle’s social media clash.

According to Kate Whitfield, a journalist for Express, Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s youngest daughter captured the nations’ heart when she walked down the aisle and married Jack Brooksbank. At present, her presence on social media has become more prominent.

Just recently, Princess Eugenie charmed her followers when she shared photos of her with Prince Edward and Sophie, Countess of Wessex at the Gold Awards held at Buckingham Palace on Instagram.

“Honoured to join my Uncle and Aunt, The Earl and Countess of Wessex today at Buckingham Palace to hand out @dofeuk Gold Awards,” Princess Eugenie wrote in the caption.

Her followers were delighted upon seeing her post especially that she addressed the Earl and Countess of Wessex as “uncle and aunt.” Due to Princess Eugenie’s personal touch in her posts, many netizens love her more.

“She’s become one of my favs royals because of how down to earth and human she is,” one netizen commented.

Princess Eugenie is fond of sharing photos of her relatives. On Saturday, she skipped Lady Gabriella and Thomas Kingston’s royal wedding. However, she shared a photo taken on the big day and praised the bride for looking “absolutely stunning.”

Following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s photocall for their newborn son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, Princess Eugenie also posted a photo of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. In the picture, the couple had their backs on the camera and Markle’s hand was on Prince Harry’s shoulder.

“I'm just so happy for you!!” she wrote in the caption.

Princess Eugenie becoming another royal favorite on Instagram might affect the family’s competition on social media. At present, Middleton and Markle are pitted against each other.

Last weekend, Prince William and Middleton were accused of stealing Prince Harry and Markle’s thunder for sharing family photos just hours after the Duke and Duchess of Sussex posted never-before-seen pictures to celebrate their first wedding anniversary. According to royal aides, the rivalry between the Cambridges and Sussexes has already upset the palace.
