Sarah Ferguson revealed how Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank spent their honeymoon eve.

Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank exchanged "I do's" at St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle last month. Their royal wedding was like a fairytale, but the Duchess of York revealed that despite the extravagant nature of the event, the couple was as normal as the rest of us.

According to Ferguson, she asked the newlyweds where they would want to spend the night before their honeymoon. She was surprised that Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank opted to be at home with their family.

"The Sunday after the wedding, I said to Eugenie and Jack: 'Do you want to stay somewhere special?'" Ferguson recalled (via Express). "So the night before their honeymoon, the whole family were eating pizza together in the kitchen."

On the same interview, Ferguson opened up about her return to the royal fold and how it was to be in the same room with Prince Philip. The two were reportedly avoiding each other as the 97-year-old royal hasn't forgiven the duchess yet for her toegate scandal. On her end, Ferguson has nothing but only good words to say about her former father-in-law.

"‘I have huge respect for him and always admired him. It was a lovely photograph of us all together," Ferguson said about her reunion with the Duke of Edinburgh. "It was very good to be with him again. My father and he used to play polo together. It brought back memories of that."

Princess Eugenie's royal wedding has paved a way for Ferguson to make a comeback in the Firm. However, it's still unsure if she would score an invite to Prince Charles' 70th birthday. The Prince of Wales will be celebrating his natal day on Wednesday. According to royal biographer Katie Nicholl, the future king doesn't approve Prince Andrew and Ferguson's romance.

"[Andrew] has been a liability to the Royal Family," Nicholl said on Netflix's documentary "The Royal House of Windsor." "His relationship with [Sarah Ferguson] is one of the things, I’m told, that really riles Charles. It all contributes together into something that is just not very palatable."
