Princess Eugenie, Jack’s First Kiss Similar To Harry, Meghan’s For This Reason
Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s first kiss will be similar to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle.
Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, told Express that the Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s first kiss after their wedding will most likely take place in the same spot where the Duke and Duchess of Sussex kissed on May 19.
“I would certainly anticipate a kiss on the steps of St. George’s Chapel as Harry and Meghan did, they were the first royal couple to do so publicly after marrying in the chapel. The wedding will be undoubtedly a joyous, colorful, and fashionable affair,” he said.
Princess Diana and Prince Charles were the first two royals to share a kiss after their wedding day on July 29, 1981. The Prince and Princess of Wales stood outside the Buckingham Palace balcony to show their kiss to the rest of the world. Prince William followed in his parents’ footsteps when he kissed Kate Middleton after their wedding day in April 2011.
In related news, Princess Eugenie’s mom, Sarah Ferguson, is also gearing up for her daughter’s special day. Other than teaming up with Prince Andrew for the preparations, Ferguson has also rehired her former image consultant and PR Kate Waddington.
On Monday, the Duchess of York also made a big announcement regarding her work with her charity Street Child. On her Instagram account, the mom of two said that she will be launching a Street Child appeal in Indonesia.
“As a mother, I have found the stories and scenes of children affected by the earthquake and tsunami in Indonesia utterly heartbreaking. They need our help. That’s why we are launching a special appeal – please support if you can,” she wrote (via Hello!).
Ferguson’s daughters have also followed in her footsteps by involving themselves in a slew of charity work. The proud mom recently announced that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie will become ambassadors for the newly-merged charities, Children in Crisis and Street Child UK.
