Princess Eugenie Shares Royal Wedding Portrait: ‘Greatest Day Of My Life’
Princess Eugenie just shared a never-before-seen portrait from her royal wedding to Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12.
The youngest daughter of Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson shared the snap on her Instagram account. “#Tbt to THE greatest day of my life,” she wrote in the caption.
Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s photo shows the couple standing indoors after their wedding ceremony at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Princess Eugenie is still in her Peter Pilotto and Christopher de Vos gown at that time. She is holding Brooksbank’s chest, while the Casamigos ambassador is holding his wife’s arm.
The black and white snap also shows the royal couple looking straight into the camera while smiling from ear to ear. Royals fans commented positively on Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s new picture.
“You were a beautiful bride! God’s blessings for a happy and a loving life,” one fan wrote.
“That is a stunning shot. You both look so happy!” another person commented.
“Such a loving and warm couple. You looked absolutely radiant and such a beautiful gown. I wish you every happiness,” a third fan wrote.
“This is a beautiful photo of a stunning couple. Loved watching the wedding on TV here in Australia,” another fan wrote.
Following their wedding, Brooksbank and Princess Eugenie attended a slew of receptions hosted by the latter’s parents. Prince Andrew and Ferguson, who are both fans of Brooksbank, gave a hilarious speech at the gathering. A source told People that Prince Andrew shared a story about their family dog Jack.
“The Duke told a story about their dog Jack [a Norfolk terrier]. One day, I think it was early into the relationship, he shouted, ‘Jack, get off the chair!’ And the dog didn’t move. But Jack did!” the source said.
Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank first met in 2010 during a ski trip. A year later, they attended the Royal Ascot together. According to Town & Country, Brooksbank was invited to the royal event despite not being engaged to Princess Eugenie because she is not considered a working royal.
Two years later, Princess Eugenie left London to work in New York, and she stayed in contact with Brooksbank through Skype.
