Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy could delay her sister Princess Beatrice’s royal wedding.

For months, there have been rumors claiming that Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first baby. The couple has not confirmed it, but if the latest reports are true, this could delay Princess Beatrice’s wedding to her boyfriend, Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi.

According to Express, it’s a big no-no for the royal family to make two major announcements at once. This reportedly started when Queen Elizabeth II was expecting Prince Andrew, and Princess Margaret was about to announce her engagement to Antony Armstrong-Jones. The Queen’s sister waited for her to give birth to the Duke of York before she announced her big news.

Clarence House confirmed Princess Margaret and Armstrong-Jones’ engagement a week after Prince Andrew was born. Prince Andrew and Sarah Ferguson’s children are expected to adhere to this practice. Thus, Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy could delay her big sister’s big day.

According to an insider, Princess Beatrice and Mozzi have the same circle of friends and when they were introduced through a mutual pal, they instantly hit it off. The couple has been enjoying a vacation together.

Princess Beatrice already introduced her boyfriend to her mom and dad. However, a tipster claimed that Princess Beatrice won’t be inviting her father, Prince Andrew, due to the controversy plaguing him. The bride reportedly doesn’t want any drama on her big day.

“Bea is seriously considering not inviting her father to the wedding because of all the Epstein drama,” the source said. “It’s all such a messy and disgraceful affair and Bea hates that her father is tied up in it all and she doesn’t want that drama ruining her wedding.”

Many are still waiting for Princess Eugenie’s pregnancy announcement. Earlier this year, the Princess of York was spotted at Royal Ascot and she appears more curvaceous. The pregnancy rumors intensified when she was photographed resting her arm across her stomach, a protective gesture that pregnant women often do. Some sources also said that she had the “glow of pregnancy.”
