Princess Maria-Olympia Of Greece Stars In Photo Shoot With Cousins For Vanity Fair
Princess Maria-Olympia of Greece has starred in a new photo shoot along with her cousins, Isabel Getty and Talita Von Fürstenberg for Vanity Fair. The Miller family has returned with a new generation of “It girls,” who are dubbed the “society darlings for the social-media age.” The three cousins are the descendants of the well-known Miller sisters.
The 19-year-old Maria took to Instagram and shared the image from the glamorous shoot. “Just a casual day at home with the cousins! Thank you so much @vanityfair and @derekblasberg,” she captioned the picture of the trio. All the three girls wear flowing gowns as they pose on an intricately carved sofa.
Maria wears a sheer white gown and accessorizes with a gold bracelet and matching earrings. Her blonde hair is pulled up in a coiffed up ‘do’. Maria’s mom Crown Princess Marie-Chantal took to Instagram and shared a throwback of her sisters’ Vanity Fair shoot, clubbing it with her daughter and nieces’ new photo. “Oh my does time fly! #themillersisters and #the millercousins,” she wrote alongside the splitting image of the two generations.
“We can’t get by with as much as they did. [My mom] didn’t even have a cell phone,” said the young princess. She added sometimes she wondered what life was like when someone had to go to a pay phone to check the answering machine.
Marie-Chantal is a well-known children’s wear designer and also has two sisters Alexandra and Pia. Their father Robert co-founded Duty Free shops. During their time, the three sisters were the toast of high society.
The 47-year-old Marie-Chantal got married to Crown Prince Pavlos of Greece in 1995. Like Marie, the royal’s siblings also married into well-known families. In 1992, Pia tied the knot with Jean Paul Getty’s grandson, Christopher Getty.
Meanwhile, Alexandra followed in her sister Marie’s footsteps marrying royalty. In 1995, the blonde beauty married Prince Alexandre von Fürstenberg, the only son of designer Diane von Fürstenberg and her husband Prince Egon von Fürstenberg. Maria and her family vacationed in Cuba during Easter.
