Princess Sofia And Prince Carl Philip Of Sweden Spotted Shopping For Pink Baby Clothes

Heavily pregnant Princess Sofia and her husband Prince Carl Philip of Sweden were spotted shopping for pink baby clothes earlier this month. The 31-year-old princess, who is expected to give birth to the couple’s first child in April, was reportedly buying pink Mini Rodini baby clothes at the Stockholm department store, Nordiska Kompaniet. Shoppers reportedly saw the royals buying pink stuff for their upcoming arrival.

Princess Sofia is currently eight months pregnant with her first child. However, she is showing no signs of slowing down anytime soon, in spite of a piece of advice by her mom-in-law Queen Silvia. The young royal is still continuing with her official duties.

“Mini Rodini is very trendy. They use ecologically recycled materials,” said an assistant at a nearby children’s wear outlet. She was speaking to the Scandinavian site, Hänt.se. She added that the label is so sought after in Sweden that when they release a new collection their customers start queueing up.

This is not the first time the Swedish royal couple was spotted shopping for their impending arrival. Sofia and Carl Philip were spotted shopping at a baby and children’s store in January from where they did not leave empty handed. The royal couple spent the Christmas holidays traveling locally to the southernmost tip of Sweden, Skane County.

The soon-to-be parents then agreed to pose for a picture with a fan who spotted them at the store. The royal fan then shared a picture of her encounter with the prince and princess on Instagram. It showed Sofia taking centre stage dressed in a stylish grey woolly wrap and sporting a beautiful pregnancy glow.

Alva told Swedish publication Expressen that she was very surprised to see Sofia and Carl Philip looking at the prams. The couple who spoke to reporters earlier in New York said that the sex of the baby would be a surprise. Meanwhile, during the thanksgiving service of Prince Oscar, Sofia wore a power blue dress hinting at the fact that she maybe having a baby prince.
