  • Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are rumored to be promoted to working royals
  • The royal siblings are open to taking on more responsibilities
  • Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are humiliated by a recent poll

Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie are reportedly facing a humiliating blow.

Express recently asked their readers if they think the royal siblings should be upgraded to becoming working royals following the exit of Prince Andrew, Prince Harry, and Meghan Markle. However, the majority of the respondents think that they should remain minor royals.

More specifically, the polls revealed that 29 percent of the respondents don’t think that Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie should take on the work of the Duke of York. However, 26 percent of the respondents think that they should.

However, Bookmakers.tv revealed that the odds for Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie to take on the royal duties of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are at ¼. And the odds for the royal siblings to be promoted to senior royals are now down to evens.

“Nobody quite knows what the future holds for any of the young royals but with Harry and Meghan off the scene and Andrew taking a back seat because of the Epstein scandal, the royal family is becoming under-staffed. If the betting market is anything to go by, it seems like the public wants to see more of Beatrice and Eugenie; and if asked, the girls are more than likely to step up to the plate to take on any duties required from them,” a spokesperson for the betting site said.

As of late, Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie’s royal duties have not yet increased after Prince Harry and Markle’s bombshell exit. However, Sophie, Countess of Wessex, has already been tapped to support Prince William and Kate Middleton at an event in Buckingham Palace.

Sophie’s husband, Prince Edward, is also considered a working senior royal just like Princess Anne.

Meanwhile, Prince William and Middleton are also expected to take on more responsibilities and patronages now that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are no longer considered as official members of the royal family.
