Nick Jonas and Priyanka Chopra got engaged, after two months of dating, at Chopra’s 36th birthday celebrations in London on July 18, according to reports.

Jonas popped the question with a ring from Tiffany. The 25-year-old singer apparently had a whole store shut down to buy the ring, PEOPLE reported.

“They are so happy,” a source said, “His friends and family have never seen him like this, and they’re all really excited for him. He’s definitely very serious about her.”

Social media was abuzz after the news came out.

Many were surprised that the couple got engaged so fast.

Many were heartbroken that one more of the Jonas brothers was getting married.

Representatives of both stars did not respond to the magazine’s request for comment on the news.

However, Ali Abbas Zafar, director of Chopra’s Bollywood film "Bharat," hinted about the news on Thursday night, indicating the actress would be leaving the project in a cryptic tweet. “She told us in the Nick of time about her decision and we are very happy for her,” the tweet said.

Jonas and Chopra have been dating since May this year. The two were spotted on several dates over the last few weeks, including a dinner date in New York and at the "Beauty and the Beast Live in Concert" in Los Angeles.

The inside source also mentioned that things got serious between the two after they met with each other’s families.

Chopra met Jonas’ family at his cousin Rachel Tamburelli’s wedding in New Jersey on June 9. On June 22, the couple traveled to India where Jonas met with Chopra’s mother Madhu Chopra.

This makes him the third of the Jonas Brothers to be associated with marriage. Joe Jonas announced his engagement to Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner in October 2017. His other brother, Kevin Jonas married Danielle Deleasa, a former hairdresser, in December 2009.

Jonas and Chopra apparently enjoyed a double date with his brother and Turner in London recently. Both couples were seen holding hands as they went into a restaurant in Mayfair. The four also spent the July 4 weekend together riding bikes around New York.

In a previous interview, Chopra told PEOPLE she was ready to have children soon. “I am a very ‘live in the today,’ maximum ‘live in the next two months’ kind of person. But [in] 10 years, I definitely want to have kids. That is, it’s going to happen in the next 10 years. Well, hopefully earlier than that. I’m very fond of children and I want to be able to do that,” she said.

The couple has travelled together to various other places as well and was spotted wearing matching rings.
