Priyanka Chopra Shares 'How I Met Your Father' Instagram Post

It is that time of the year. Yes, it is time for the annual Met Gala. In just a few hours, the world will witness fashion at its peak when all the stars of Hollywood shine at the Metropolitan Museum in New York City.

And while everyone else was busy preparing to put their best fashion foot forward. Mrs. Nick Jonas took some time to reminisce about the time when it all began for her.

Two years ago, actress Priyanka Chopra made her first ever Met Gala appearance alongside her now-husband Nick Jonas. At that time, neither Priyanka nor Nick would have thought that they would one day be a married couple.

Priyanka recently took to Instagram to share some throwback pictures from the 2017 and 2018 Met Gala.

She posted her red carpet pictures from 2017 Met Gala where she can be seen posing alongside Nick. As part of her Instagram stories, she captioned the image with, "The story I'll definitely tell our future kids." The actress also wrote, "How I met your father" in her next post tagging Nick.

Well, yes, that's undoubtedly one story to tell!

Back then, Nick and Priyanka weren't dating, and the only reason they attended the event together was because they were both wearing outfits by the same designer.

During one of her appearance on the "Jimmy Kimmel Live" show, the "Quantico star" addressed her Met Gala appearance with Nick, saying, "We were both wearing Ralph Lauren, and we decided to go together because it was fun."

She further added "We were at the same table. We know each other, so we were like, 'Hey you know what, let's go together." And I was like, "Okay. Let's go together!' It just ended up working out."

Well, yes it certainly did work out pretty well for them. And their appearance did spark plenty of dating rumors. But, they did not really see each other after the event for a full year until 2018 Met Gala.

Nick got down on his knees and proposed Priyanka within two months of the couple dating. And the rest, as they say, is history.

Who knew Met Gala could also make matches? And now it's another year and yet another MET Gala, let's see who cupid strikes this year.
