‘Project Runway’ New York Fashion Week Show Teases What’s In Store For Season 15 [PHOTOS]
If you’re not excited for the upcoming season of “Project Runway,” you should be after seeing what the contestants came up with for New York Fashion Week. Six finalists debuted their collections on Day 2 of the biannual fashion event, giving the audience a little taste at what they’ll see when the new season premieres.
The “Project Runway” fashion show kicked off with host and producer Heidi Klum addressing the crowd, revealing that each designer was given only $9,000 to create his or her collection. “They’re very excited, they worked very hard,” she told the audience, before bringing them out and having them walk the runway to applause and cheers. You can get to know the Season 15 cast here.
After Klum introduced the designers, the former model took her seat in the front row next to judges Nina Garcia and Zac Posen and guest judge Zendaya. Kelly Osbourne, a judge on “Project Runway Junior” and a previous judge on “Project Runway,” was also present to check out the collections.
While fans finally got a peek at the designers’ aesthetics during the NYFW show, the identity of who created each collection was kept a secret as to not spoil the show since it’s still being filmed.
