Proof That Princess Charlotte Resembles Queen Elizabeth II The Most Revealed
Princess Charlotte at the age of 4 is the spitting image of Queen Elizabeth II when she was the same age.
A black and white photo of a young Queen shows Her Majesty looking straight int the camera while wearing a sleeveless dress. Her curly hair is neatly placed fixed and she is also smiling from ear to ear. The adorable young royal’s hands are carefully placed over her chest in the snap.
The black and white photo of the monarch was compared to Princess Charlotte’s picture when she attended Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s royal wedding on May 19, 2018. Princess Charlotte, who turned 4 years old on May 2, served as one of the bridesmaids at the nuptials.
In the photo, Princess Charlotte is not looking straight into the camera. But it was evident that the plumpness of her cheek and the shape of her face are similar to her great-grandmother.
An analysis carried out by Hassan Ugail, a professor of visual computing at the University of Bradford, revealed that the Queen and Princess Charlotte had a similarity index of more than 62 percent.
“They are indeed strikingly similar. Usually, if a comparison between two images returns 70 percent or higher, we consider it to be the same person,” he told Express.
James Brookes, a royal editor, said that Ugail’s findings did not surprise him because a resemblance between the two female royals has already been noticed in the past.
“From the photos, what strikes me most is the similarity with the Queen’s smile. It will be very interesting as she grows up to see how she changes and who she ends up looking like,” he said.
Meanwhile, Kate Middleton just shared three of the photos that she took of Princess Charlotte to commemorate her daughter’s 4th birthday. Following the release of the photos, Bryony Jewell, a journalist for Daily Mail, said that Princess Charlotte also looks like her mom when Middleton was much younger.
