PS Vita Slim Console To Release In North America This Spring

Sony has reported the new PlayStation Vita will launch soon in North America. The PS Vita Wi-Fi model (PCH-2000) series will hit shelves via a “Borderlands 2” Limited Edition PlayStation Vita Bundle sometime this spring. The new Vita, first announced during the Tokyo Game Show last year, is 20 percent slimmer and 15 percent lighter than the original Vita. The upcoming Vita also contains rounded edges for gaming comfort. There is a 5-inch front touchscreen with high-definition liquid crystal display and the slim Vita’s battery life will last through 4-6 hours of gameplay and up to 7 hours of video play.

The bundle will include a new, black slim Vita console, first-person shooter RPG “Borderlands 2” with six DLC packs, and an 8GB Vita memory card. The bundle will cost $199.99.

Sony shared the details on the upcoming Vita version of “Borderlands 2” in a blog post.
