PS4 News: PS1 And PS2 Games May Come To Console

The Playstation 4, which is made by the Sony Corporation (NYSE: SNE), may support selected original PlayStation and PlayStation 2 titles soon.
You know what that means. Yes, you’ll eventually be able to play “Resident Evil 2” on your PS4.
The rumor came from Seattle-based industry insider Ahsan Rasheed, who claimed the software was still somewhat glitchy and not yet able to work with every game.
Be excited: 1. Local PS1 / PS2 support on PS4 w/ native 1080p rendering for select titles. 2. Bluray Media Player updates

@reptilescorpio Number 1 I've known for a good minute, but software is still buggy and not every game works. Please be excited.

The tweet is similar to previous rumored reports. In January, a PS1 and PS2 local emulator was said to be in the works for the PS4, which would allow backward compatibility for older games.
