‘Quantico’ Season 1 Spoilers: Episode 3 Synopsis Released; What Will Happen In ‘Cover’? [PHOTOS & VIDEO]
“Quantico” will delve even further into the past in episode 3. The new ABC drama has established a timeline in the future, where Alex (Priyanka Chopra) is accused of being a terrorist, and in the past, when Alex is still training for the FBI at Quantico. However, it looks like we’ll get even more glimpses of Alex’s family history, according to the episode 3 synopsis.
While Alex is in training, she “finally receives information about her father and his FBI past,” the synopsis teases. Of course, we don’t know what she’ll find out, but it’s probably something big. After all, she joined the government agency to find out more about her dad.
Meanwhile, she and the other NATs (New Agents in Training) learn about profiling in the episode, titled "Cover." Like their past assignments, they’ll have to analyze each other and they'll probably uncover a few more secrets along the way. They’ll “focus on their classmates’ strengths and weaknesses, ultimately challenging their confidence and comradery,” the summary states.
In the present, Alex will still be on the run, even with her face plastered across screens all over the country. At the end of episode 2, Ryan (Jake McLaughlin) told Liam (Josh Hopkins) that Alex was his shooter (despite talking to Alex on the phone and claiming he couldn’t see the gunman). Ryan’s confirmation made Liam give Alex’s photo to news agencies all over the U.S. Liam will make sure Alex gets even more publicity when he organizes a press conference with her mother (Anna Khaja).
“In the future it’s her mother, Sita, who plays a key role when Liam convinces her to participate in a press conference on national television begging Alex to turn herself in,” the synopsis reveals. But is Alex’s mother really in the dark about everything? She was married to an FBI agent, so Sita might be hiding a few of her own secrets.
