Queen Elizabeth ‘Blamed’ For Prince Harry, Meghan Markle’s Move For This Reason
Queen Elizabeth II is being linked to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s decision to move out of Kensington Palace early next year.
Even though Her Majesty didn’t ask the royal couple to move to Frogmore Cottage, she was the one that introduced the property to them. Camilla Tominey, a royal expert, told “This Morning” that the monarch told Prince Harry and Markle that they should consider taking their engagement photos at Frogmore House.
“The Queen introduced them to Frogmore as an idea to have their engagement photos there because it was renovated recently to mark the Queen’s wedding anniversary. The couple has spent a lot of time in Windsor as they’re close to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank and Eugenie’s parents, the Yorks, who still live at Windsor Lodge – so there’s a connection. And also Windsor’s nice – they got married there, it’s close to everything they need to be close to,” she said (via Express).
In related news, Tominey also slammed the rumors claiming that Markle and Kate Middleton are feuding with each other. The expert said that the Duchesses are clearly at very different stages in their lives so they shouldn’t be expected to be close.
“They’re not natural bedfellows, with little in common except they are ordinary women who’ve both been thrust into this spotlight. But equally they’re at different stages in their life – Kate has three children, Meghan has one on the way. But Meghan’s played a blinder, she threw herself in at the deep end – she went on a tour of the UK, she’s spoken very well on the world stage, her cookbook initiative in aid of Grenfell was a success. There’s, of course, going to be a shift in dynamics, they’re very traditional the royal family,” she explained.
Markle and Prince Harry are expected to move to Frogmore Cottage sometime in February. Another reason for the big move has to do Prince Harry and Prince William’s alleged falling out. However, this claim hasn’t been confirmed by the siblings or the palace staff.
