Queen Elizabeth II Looks Bright In Sea Green Angela Kelly Outfit At Her 90th Birthday Celebrations In Windsor
Queen Elizabeth II looked bright in a sea green dress and matching jacket as she attended her 90th birthday celebrations with her husband Prince Philip in the grounds of Windsor Castle on Sunday. The star-studded gala saw her family come out to support the nonagenarian royal, who turned 90 on April 21. The British monarch seemed to have enjoyed the show as she smiled and clapped as the Royal Cavalry of Oman played “Happy Birthday to you.”
Elizabeth opted for her trusted dressmaker Angela Kelly for her outfit. She arrived at the performance ring in the Scottish state coach along with her husband. She was greeted by her son Prince Charles and his wife Camilla, the duchess of Cornwall, who wore a cream dress and an embroidered coat by Fiona Clare.
The queen’s jacket featured long sleeves with sea green border and matching chunky buttons and lace overlay. She wore white gloves and paired her look with her favorite accessories. Elizabeth wore a three-string pearl necklace and matching earrings. She also wore a turquoise and diamond brooch.
The queen teamed up her ensemble with black pumps and carried a small black leather handbag. She wore a slick of pink lipstick. Her husband Prince Philip, and grandsons Prince William and Prince Harry were dressed in the Windsor Uniforms (uniform for the male members of the royal family when they are at Windsor Castle).
The queen’s granddaughters Zara Phillips, Lady Louise Windsor, her youngest son Prince Edward and daughter Princess Anne participated in a horse parade — the finale of the event. Besides, 900 horses and 1,500 performers participated in the two-hour show. Ant and Dec hosted the show that was aired live on ITV.
