Queen Elizabeth II, Princess Beatrice Spotted Together At Church Near Balmoral
Queen Elizabeth II recently attended church service near Balmoral with her granddaughter, Princess Beatrice.
A photo of the two female royals riding the same car on their way to Crathie Church in Aberdeenshire was uploaded online via Express. In the snap, the Queen is seen wearing a blue outfit that she paired with the same colored hat. Princess Beatrice, on the other hand, wore an all-black ensemble.
The publication revealed that Prince Andrew sat beside the chauffeur in the same car. However, his picture was not captured by the press. The Queen’s other son, Prince Edward, drove his own car to the church. He was joined by his wife, Sophie, and their two children.
Soldiers from the 3 Scots regiment formed a guard of honor to welcome the royal family’s arrival at the church. The Queen and some members of the British clan are in Balmoral for their annual summer holiday. Prince Philip didn’t join them this year as it believed that he is still recovering from his hip surgery in Sandringham in Norfolk.
As of late, it is also unclear if Princess Eugenie joined her family to the church service or if she is busy preparing for her royal wedding with Jack Brooksbank on Oct. 12. Despite her possible absence, Princess Eugenie previously gushed over Balmoral and described it as the most beautiful place on Earth.
“I think Granny is the happiest there, I think she really, really loves the Highlands – walks, picnics, dogs, a lot of dogs. Family-wise we’re all there, so it’s a lovely base for Granny and Grandpa, for us to come and see them up there,” she said.
The entire royal family is expected to make an appearance at Princess Eugenie and Brooksbank’s nuptials at St. George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle. Her mom, Sarah Ferguson, will sit front and center inside the church.
