Queen Elizabeth II Spotted With Prince Philip, Autumn Phillips In Balmoral
Queen Elizabeth II was recently spotted with Prince Philip and Autumn Phillips in Balmoral.
The Royals were photographed on their way to church and inside a vehicle. Her Majesty sat beside Phillips at the back of the car. Also in the vehicle are Prince Charles and Camilla Parker Bowles.
For her recent outing, the Queen wore a powder blue dress and suit with black trim and buttons. She also paired her attire with a hat with a black rim and floral detail, as well as a sparkling brooch.
Bowles, on the other hand, donned a gray suit jacket with a green, gold and blue cornflower pin. Prince Charles wore his usual suit and tie to the church service on Sunday.
According to BBC, the Queen and Prince Philip are nearing the end of their summer vacation, which they usually spend in Balmoral. Richard Fitzwilliams, a royal commentator, previously told Express that the Queen does a lot of things when she’s in Balmoral.
“There’s no doubt that the Queen feels at home at Balmoral. She loves the relaxed pace of life in the countryside. If the Queen was not our monarch, she would be very happy being a countrywoman surrounded by nature, her dogs, and horses. She is often joined by other royals at Balmoral, where they take part in outdoor sports, go on love walks and have barbecues,” he said.
Fitzwilliams also said that new members of the royal family are expected to pass a so-called Balmoral test when they visit the estate.
“The ability to feel at ease in the countryside is seen as a prerequisite for feeling comfortable in the royal family. It will be very interesting to see how Meghan Markle faces since she grew up in Los Angeles and is more used to urban life,” he said.
Markle and Prince Harry reportedly visited the Queen in Balmoral this year. This served as Markle’s first time to head to the estate since marrying Prince Harry.
